| The weapon system RMK30 recoilless automatic cannon is typified by a lightweight, compact design and an innovative ammunition concept featuring caseless rounds; but the weapon is designed to fire all types of currently fielded ammunition, especially air burst ammunition. Because of the lack of recoil, the weapon fires much more accurately. This means that less ammunition is needed, in turn reducing the risk of causing collateral damage. The RMK weapon system can be integrated into practically any conceivable platform, including trailers, containers and vehicles; and thanks to its low weight, compactness and simple design, it can also be retrofitted into existing platform vehicles. |
