Infantry Symposium 2010 - "Infantry leads the way"

06 - 07 October 2010 in Unterlüß

From peacekeeping to expeditionary warfare, modern infantry units face a multitude of complex tasks. Regardless of the threat, task or mission at hand, it is invariably the infantry who have to cope with extremely hazardous situations at close quarters. Rheinmetall Waffe Munition’s Infantry Symposium offers today’s soldiers, trainers and equipment procurers an opportunity to exchange experiences and learn about our latest infantry products.
We have scheduled lectures that take in a variety of different perspectives, including ISAF, USMC and European gendarmerie forces. In addition, we have invited several other infantry suppliers, such as Aimpoint, FN Herstal and Dynamit Nobel Defence, in order to provide an overview of the latest ways of enhancing the operational capabilities of mounted and dismounted infantry.

Tasmanian Tiger, SIMUNITION, Vinghög and Böker will also be on hand during the symposium with static displays, providing attendees with an opportunity to see the full spectrum of infantry equipment now available, not merely weapons and ammunition.

The kinetic part of the event will feature day and night live firing: an impressive demonstration of the infantry soldier’s tools of the trade, vital for achieving successful outcomes in modern conflicts.
